Lebowski!!!

Hopefully you’re heading out to Old Orchard Bowling Lanes for the beginning of the Lebowski Achievers Festival relatively soon.  If you can’t make it out to the lanes, head out to the club tonight at 6:30 for a costume contest and Manolo’s Pizza.  At 8pm The Big Lebowski will be played on the big screen followed by sets with World’s First Flying Machine and Zach May & the Maps.  It’s sure to be a fun day!

Good Week to Come

Hey all, hope you’re enjoying the weather finally starting to come around.  80 degrees and sunny this weekend?!?  It’s about time.  So enjoy the beautiful weather during the day and come hang out at the Canopy Club at night!

As always, come out for Trivia Diner and the Piano Man Tuesday night.  You can get cheap booze and have an awesome time.  Physical Challenge is always a good bet with their Red Bull Specials and awesome mix of indie, dance, and pop music.

What I’m personally looking forward to is indie rockers The Appleseed Cast this Thursday night.  One of the openers, An Horse, is also a personal favorite of mine.  Their latest release, “Rearrange Beds”, is definitely one of the catchiest albums I’ve heard all year.  Check out their Myspace pages below.

Get on Your Dancing Shoes

Come out tonight and every Wednesday night for Physical Challenge, one of the best ways to spend your Wednesdays on campus.  DJ Belly will be spinning a great combo of indie rock and dance music all night.  And if dancing isn’t your thing, you can still enjoy our Red Bull drink specials.  It’s a great deal and a great time, so make sure to head on out!

Oh Hi!

Hey all, it’s been quite a while.  There’s been a ton that’s gone on since I last wrote.  Summer Camp’s lineup is getting better by the day, great acts like George Clinton have been announced, and there have been some great shows that went on!

I just wanted to catch you up on what’s going to be a great night of music at the club.  Copeland will be hitting the Canopy stage alongside This Providence and others.  The show is EARLY, get here at 5:30 to catch all the action.  Tonight is sure to be fun as well.  EOTO will wrap up the String Cheese Incident’s members short reign over the Canopy at 9pm.  Local favorites Zmick will be there as well.
